"Obsessions: Cemeteries" in Nat Geo Traveler Magazine
Wherever I go, I always learn about the cemeteries. If appropriate, I visit the graveyards to learn about an area’s history and cultural practices. For the penultimate print edition of the National Geographic Traveler Magazine, I wrote a first-person essay about how my love for cemeteries shapes my travels. In the magazine, I also had the privilege of sharing a full-page photograph of Arnos Vale Cemetery in Bristol, England (one of the most progressive and beautiful cemeteries I’ve visited). The article—as well as a sidebar story about 7 cemeteries with views to die for—is now up online.
